Footlets!

My feet and I are so glad I discovered footlets!
Never heard of them before? Well you're definitely missing out. Footlets are made of thin nylon or cotton, and are perfect for wearing with closed-toe flats and heels, especially in the summer when you can't wear regular socks or nylons. It looks like you're wearing your shoes with bare feet, and they are much more comfortable than going bare. When shopping around for footlets, compare the different brands side by side. If you have low-cut shoes you need to make sure that the footlet doesn't cover much of the toes, or you'll be able to see them above your shoes. For low-cut, I recommend Hue or Dim (Secret is too high cut). The best thing to do is buy one pair and try them on with your favorite shoes - when you find a brand that works, go back for more!

Other varieties of foot covers include the foot tube (for open toe, open back), the toe cover (closed toe, open back), and the slingback. Some footlets come with built in padding, or anti-slip grips to make wearing your favorite pair of shoes even more enjoyable!

Thank you for this post! I just stumbled onto your blog through a google search, and sad to see it hasn't been updated in a while. I'm new to "fashion sense" (die hard "student look" girl).. It's great to have people like you teach the stuff I should've learned in the first place!

Thanks for the comment :-) I'm glad that you find my blog useful! I've spent many hours learning about fashion, and wanted to be able to pass on my knowledge without everyone else having to go to all the time and effort!
