Ha ha, I bet you didn't think there was any more to learn about neutrals did you! Well there are some tricky colours as well, called pseudo-neutrals.
Some fantastic pseudo-neutrals are metalics - gold, bronze, and silver. Don't go overboard with the metallics though, or you'll look like you're on a bad trip from the 80s. The trick here is to use metallics as accent pieces in accessories (what, I ask you, is more fabulous than a gold shoe!), or as subtle influences, such as a slight gold sheen in a sweater.
Ultimate sex-appeal in a shoe.

Pastel colours and dark shades can also work as pseudo-neutrals. Some examples include burgundy, light blue, and army green. Unlike neutrals, you need to be careful of mixing psudo-neutrals with each other. The key to making your outfit sensational is to choose one brighter colour to pair with your psudo-neutral.
I love this psudo-neutral teal velvet blazer paired with this sleeveless crimson sweater with a bright red cami underneath, a bright blue sweater, or a traditional argile sweater.

Pseudo-Neutrals
Great for a night on the town! Don't let these strappy shoes intimidate you - the one-inch heal makes them easy to walk in, and multiple thin straps create very little pressure points on your feet, which makes them super comfortable.
